Royal Doulton - Poppies in a Cornfield

A beautiful series introduced in 1930 which captures perfectly the edge of a cornfield in mid summer. Vibrant hand painted scarlet poppies feature in the foreground with fields and a distant farmhouse in the background. In production for a relatively short period and very much collected.
